Jenny Rudi

The name Jenny Rudi can be heard around in Norway’s underground music circles. As the guitarist, vocalist, lyricist and composer of WRATH, she has managed to reach many with her eccentric and energetic stage-presence. She has a raw and unpolished image, merged with a somber vulnerability which is best noticed throughout WRATH’s music. Rudi, with her hypnotic singing, aggressive screams and grungy riffs, stands out as a Norwegian, female artist.

Although mostly known for her grunge, punk, and metal music, she has also recently diverged into more folk, blues, jazz-pop and singer songwriter debuting as a solo artist under her own name.

Rudi is also learning filmmaking through directing and cutting all of WRATH´s music videos, as well as those for her own solo project. Closely working with more skilled filmmakers like her cousin Espen Rudi, and bergen based director, photographer, Lauris Greidans, she is learning more about the art from every new project.
