Sander Skogen

Sander Skogen is a Norwegian rock and noise musician from Haugesund, with a strong roots to Vindafjord. Skogen has played in many bands since a young age and has extensive experience with concerts, composing and exploring music. Sander started playing drums as a youngster in teenage rock-bands such as Tears of Odin; later and more known as Fuligo Septica. He studied under the acclaimed drummer Tore Jamne from Haugesund for many years. In 2016 he entered as a step in drummer for Acid Cunt, and later became a permanent member. Sander created the drums on for example the track «Power Belongs to the People» by Acid Cunt.

Skogen’s explosive and creative drumming is heavily inspired by avant-garde, experimental music, prog, jazz and math-rock. In addition, he is a skilled noise musician who creates ambient and samples from sounds he discovers around him. In the music of WRATH, he combines these two simultaneously, which makes him a multi-instrumentalist both in the studio and on stage.

Today he is best known for his work in the bands WRATH and Mileu; where he has toured both in Norway and several times internationally. He has a great record of collaborating with other artist such as Martin Mentzoni, and also as his own solo artist working with samples and noise, creating experimental music.
